Glowmonkey is proud to support students in their educational pursuits. MBHS Ocean VR is a Virtual Reality experience/game made by Game Design students in San Diego at Mission Bay High School. A team of highly motivated and talented "Buccaneers" have worked on this cross-curricular project that demonstrates knowledge gained from their Marine Science and Game Design classes.
The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the students ability to create an immersive experience using cutting-edge technology while building something useful for their Marine Science class. As this game evolves, students will try to address environmental challenges in our oceans. Through VR technology, students hope to allow people to see what a clean ocean may look like. In future versions of this game, students will demonstrate the harmful effects of pollution and climate change in our oceans.
